Wisconsin provides some of the United States’ “Lower 48” most pristine hunting and fishing areas. Wisconsin’s numerous iconic lakes, including the legendary Big Green Lake, provide ample support for fish, waterfowl, and game. For hunters, white tailed deer, wild turkey, and even black bears are readily found throughout the state. In the winter, lakes throughout the state are dotted with ice fishing sheds, providing year-round access to avid fishermen.
