Legal Compliance
Personal Responsibility
General Consent to Terms of Use
I indemnify and hold harmless RavLine and all of its owners, directors, officers, employees, and agents for any and all loss, harm, damage, costs, liability, and expense caused to them, whether intentionally or unintentionally, by my use of RavLine, including but not limited to direct or indirect results of violations of any and all applicable laws.
RavLine may make changes to these terms at any time without notifying me. As a user, I am solely responsible for reading the most current version of the terms and conditions.
By making use of RavLine and it’s related properties, I agree to each and every enumerated term above and further certify that I have read, and completely agree, to be legally bound by the RavLine Terms of Use.
If I violate these terms, RavLine may permanently remove me from the site or, depending on the nature and severity of the violation, avail itself of such remedies as are prescribed by law. RavLine will comply with federal, state, municipal, and tribal law enforcement entities pursuant to the Constitution of the United States and Due Process of Law.
This policy describes the information we process to support RavLine and other products and features offered by RavLine. You can find additional tools and information in your account’s settings.
To provide the RavLine, we process information about our users. The types of information we collect depend on how our users use our service.
As described below, we collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs and other web-connected devices that integrate with RavLine, and we combine this information across different devices. Information we obtain from these devices includes:
We use the information we have (subject to choices our users make) as described below and to provide and support RavLine and its related services. Here’s how:
User information may be shared with others. When users publish and communicate using RavLine, they choose the audience. For example, when they post on RavLine, they select the audience for the post, such as a group, their friends, the public, or a customized list.
Public information may be able to be seen by anyone, on or off RavLine, including if they don’t have an account. This may include usernames, any information shared with a public audience, information in public profiles on RavLine, and content shared on a RavLine page, group, forum, or other feature. Public information can also be seen, accessed, reshared or downloaded through third-party services such as search engines, APIs, and offline media such as TV, and by apps, websites and other services that integrate with RavLine.
Users should consider to whom they choose to share with, because people who can see a user’s activity on RavLine can choose to share it with others on and off RavLine, including people and businesses outside the original audience. For example, when a user shares a post or sends a message to specific accounts, the recipients and viewers of that content can download, screenshot, or reshare that content to others across or off RavLine. Also, when users comment on someone else’s post or react to their content, that comment or reaction is generally visible to anyone who can see the other person’s content, and that person can change the audience later.
People can also use RavLine to create and share content about RavLine users with the audience they choose. If a user is uncomfortable with what others have shared about them on RavLine, they can report the content and RavLine will make a good faith attempt to have the content removed if it violates our terms of use.
If the ownership or control of all or part of RavLine or its assets changes, we may transfer user information to the new owner.
We work with third-party partners who help us provide and improve RavLine, which makes it possible to operate RavLine and provide services to people around the world. Here are the types of third parties we may share information with:
We may provide aggregated statistics and insights that help people and businesses understand how people are engaging with their posts, listings, accounts, and other content on and off RavLine.
We may provide advertisers with reports about the kinds of people seeing their ads and how their ads are performing, but we don’t share information that personally identifies our users (information such as names or email addresses that can be used to contact or identify users) unless our users give us permission.
We may share user information with companies that aggregate it to provide analytics and measurement reports to RavLine and our partners.
We may provide information and content to vendors and service providers who support our business, such as by providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how RavLine is used, providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting surveys.
We may share information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests in certain circumstances. We may access, preserve, and share user information with regulators, law enforcement, or others:
Information we receive about users (including financial transaction data related to purchases made with RavLine) may be accessed and preserved for an extended period when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations of possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.
We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services or serve our business interests. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.
When a user deletes their account, we delete things they have posted, such as photos and status updates, and the user likely won’t be able to recover that information later. Information that others have shared about that user isn’t part of his or her account and won’t be deleted. If users don’t want to delete their accounts but want to temporarily stop using RavLine, they can deactivate their accounts instead.
We may share information globally, both internally within RavLine, and externally with our partners. User information may, for example, be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States or other countries outside of where our users live for the purposes as described in this policy. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services set forth in the RavLine terms and to globally operate and provide RavLine to the world.
